Kelly

Kelly 

brings over 25 years of physical therapy experience into practice where she combines her knowledge of neurologic and orthopedic conditions. She began her career with a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California and obtained her doctorate degree in 2014 from Rosalind Franklin University. She has been practicing for the past 20 years with a heavy emphasis in pelvic floor rehabilitation. Her robust training includes coursework from Herman and Wallace Institute, the APTA Section On Women’s Health as well as Advanced Bowel Training coursework with Jeannette Tries of Marquette University and Visceral Manipulation with Gail Wetzler. She has shared her pelvic expertise through assisting in courses as a lab instructor and provided peer education (LUMC) for SI/spine assessment framework and osteopathic manual approach.  She is qualified in and has experience in treating a variety of pelvic floor muscle-related diagnoses in males, females, and children.  Working in orthopedics with pregnancy-related musculoskeletal pain was Kelly’s gateway into the pelvic world. In addition to helping in peri-partum healthcare, Kelly enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions. She takes joy in seeing patients return to their sport, recreation, work or daily life activities better. Providing customized patient-centric care is her forte. Before opening Mend, she worked at The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (inpatient neuro rehab followed by outpatient orthopedics) and Loyola University Medical Center (outpatient) and alongside a colleague at Perform (2017). Kelly enjoys running with her dog, pilates, nature, volunteering at church, cooking, and adventuring with her family.

Jamie 

has been practicing physical therapy for 7 years. She graduated with her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Utah. She went on to specialize in pelvic health and has spent the last 6 years focusing more specifically on prenatal and postpartum populations. Her passion is to help women experience a pain-free pregnancy, prepare them for childbirth and recover appropriately during the postpartum. Jamie also performs dry needling and is a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist.  She is a wife and mother of 3 who enjoys staying active and spending time with her family.

Kristen

has over 12 years of clinical experience as an outpatient physical therapist; she has worked in orthopedic, neurologic, and women’s pelvic health settings. Kristen graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2010. Throughout her career, she has treated patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions, sports-related injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation. She has worked with runners and triathletes and was trained to perform video gait analysis. Kristen became a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopedics through the ABPTS in 2018. She has also treated women’s pelvic health patients and completed her Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist certification in 2022. Kristen was certified in LSVT-BIG for patients with Parkinson’s disease in 2012. She has enjoyed working with patients that have general balance impairments and fall prevention concerns.Kristen takes an individualized approach with her patients. Her treatment style combines patient preferences, evidence-based treatment, and strong knowledge of the movement system. She incorporates education to promote general health, wellness, and injury prevention in relation to her patients’ specific diagnoses. She believes that good communication and patient education are imperative to helping her patients reach their goals. Personally, Kristen enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and 2 rescue dogs. She loves doing triathlons, playing volleyball, traveling, hiking, and working out outside.

Christine 

is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and College of DuPage. She is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the State of Illinois and has been practicing since 2012. Her experience includes working at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Marianjoy Rehab Hospital as a PTA where she specialized in Postsurgical Orthopedic and Neurological Rehabilitation. She also worked at an outpatient clinic treating a wide variety of patients using Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT). She loves being a member of the Mend Physical Therapy team! Christine is a wife and mother of three young kids. She enjoys spending time with her family, working out, and reading books with her book club.
